The project works, located in North of Al Luqta Street within Zone-51 of Doha, involved the construction of a 2-lane dual carriageway. The works included earthworks, paving and kerbing works, storm water drainage works, public utility diversions, service protection and provision for future services, street lighting works, traffic signs and road markings.
GEIC was engaged to provide supervision services for the construction and post-contract quantity surveying. The post contract quantity services included monthly check on works completed, preparation of monthly schedule of works completed to form the basis of agreement for interim payment, maintaining a record of materials delivered to site and collate delivery invoices, maintaining record of plant and manpower, collate test results and issue same to client, and marking up of drawings for underground works including line, level and position.
