Al Zubara is one of the most important historical sites in The State of Qatar. This area is one of The Earliest Settlements in the country, and it has witnessed the major events

the fame of being one of the most important trading ports in the Gulf region at the time.

The project brief called for the development of The Concept Design for establishing a Museum at Al Zubara. The concept was developed with the assistance of noted Australian Museum Consultant, M/s Hewit Pender Associates. The design aimed in the development of an International Level Boutique Museum and an Important Tourist Destination. The concept was developed around the existing fort, incorporating Desert Landscaping, Oasis, Terraced Garden, Museum Building, Children’s Play Area, Parking, etc. The design took care to maintain the fort's integrity and visual appeal. An area of 2000 QS.M was planned for the display.
